Baffle plate opening
This may be in the wrong section, but I was wondering what the ratio of the opening from the baffle plate to the end of the smoker is. I have a 250 gal. reverse flow offset smoker I just purchased. I wanted to know how big the opening should be from the baffle plate to the end of the smoker.
Thanks for any info.
Going to say 8-12 inches.. or the same amount as your cooking chamber to firebox opening..
I'm no expert on RF though..
i know it needs to be big enough.. to draw... freely.. make the flow pull naturally
