Christmas gift ideas here
Every year there are posts asking about indispensable BBQ items. I thought I was all set until I was just shown this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=uVwhVz_y8m0 If you are wondering why you need an ice mold for BBQing, then I would suspect you're still looking for wood and trying to figure out what a fattie is. Soon enough you'll know that a well-stocked liquor cabinet is essential, along with the proper tools that go with it. This is the best gift I've seen so far this year. It can be purchased from Williams Sonoma: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/produ...cm_src=AutoRel Note that there are two sizes. The 2" will set you back only $700. You might think $1100 is quite a bit to spend for 2 3/4", but if you've only got 2" to work with, I'd be willing to bet you'd gladly pay $400 for that extra 3/4" to make your spouse happier. Oh, and don't forget to add the coupon code for free shipping! :thumb: |
Yep, like you, I'm thinking...
MEATBALLS!!! |
Fark! It's internet only!
I was gonna swing by and get one of those babies on the way home. BTW - do they sell the things that make those big chunks of ice? :noidea: Hopefully they aren't more than a few hundred. |

Hmm, Ice balls press kit. I thought this was something they gave you at checkout after a Vasectomy :noidea:

Sometimes I honestly think that these high end kitchen stores price certain objects as wagers amongst their execs to see how many suckers are truely out there.

For the same money you could get about 170 of these but I doubt the process would be as dramatic.

Would it be considered rude to put naked lady ice cubes in with the "spheres"?

As a Maker's Mark ambassador, I get a Christmas gift from them every year. Two years ago it was an ice ball tray. I laughed until I tried it. Ice balls are really nice, and you can get their tray for $10!
http://makersmarkshop.com/barware/ac...all-trays.html I'm using one in this drink I posted here for Guerry's birthday. http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...3/_DSC9796.jpg |
