Dyin' for a good steak!...with pron...
Had a hankerin' for some protein.
Went to BJ's picked up a Ribeye about an 1" thick. Seasoned that cut up with EVOO, rubbed with some Simply Marvelous Sweet & Spicy and let it sit. http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/DSCN2510.jpg Got my small up to about 550°. http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/DSCN2511.jpg Then she hit the grate along with a naked Bubba Burger for my 8 year old. http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/DSCN2514.jpg http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/DSCN2518.jpg Here is the plated cut, served with mini Spinach Pie and a cheesy, broccoli, cauliflower and carrot mix. http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/DSCN2527.jpg http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/DSCN2535.jpg Thanks for checking it out! |

How did the sweet rub work on the steak versus the usual simplicity most advocate?
