UDS build and cook
4 Attachment(s)
Well, I did it. After about a month of reading the 600+ pages on the UDS thread, I decided to build one. Talk about easy. About 3 hours after amassing all required hardware. The first cook (fatty and shoulder) turned out amazing! Set it and forget is an understatement. Thanks to everyone who has posted for the info. Here are some build pics and pron.

Lookin good! I agree, the UDS is the easiest cooker I've ever used.

Thanks, guys. I followed Norco's directions and added a few minor tweaks.

Good job! UDS's RULE!

J-Rod, thanks. As I said above, build was easy. Making the stencils was another story. Spent quite a few hours with exacto knife, but was definitely worth it. Besides, now I have them for whatever else might need "a touch of camo".
