Key Largo KCBS event in November
 

Just planning ahead, but I/we may be doing the KCBS event in Key Largo, FL, November 4 & 5. I'm thinking this one will be lots of fun - awful near Margaritaville! :D

And no, I'm not soliciting volunteers for this one! :D

This event is being discussed, heavily :lol:
If we do this cook-off as a team--it will be business--not a Bash.
But, partying is very tempting also :lol:
Maybe a few days afterwards to celebrate--or drown our sorrow :oops:

With the low entry fee--just register to compete--bring a little cooker down--and party till ya drop :lol:

We anticipate a low turn-out of the "SuperStar" teams--so "who knows" what will happen at awards :lol:

At 51, my party days are pretty much over, and I take every cook serious. I'll be game for most anything after 3pm on Saturday, before that, it's my 2 beer limit! :mrgreen:

"Party" starts after 5PM (awards or reality time) and there is a "zero limit" prior for us "toddering old senior folks" who are just focused :oops:

Key largo is one of the familys favorite places. We have stock at the Westin. I'll be down there for that one... even if its just to judge.


Where in Key largo?

It's going to be at Harry Harris Park. I'm going for sure and Dan Buchanan from "Creek Q" will be joining me/us for this cook off. Like Tim said, we're serious as a heart attack when going to competitions. But, this ought to be a really laid back event - it is being held in conjuction with the Island Jubilee.
