WIFI & 600' Wireless Remote Controlled Pit Temperature Controller Thermostat

Detailed information at http://www.allchinas.com/probe

This is temperature controller for most Wood,Pellet, Charcoal buring BBQ grill smoker pit. It is fully digital, it has programmable 4 different temperature stages. Its output is P.I.D. control of voltage instead of simply turning on or off the blower. This way the blower speed is tuned stepless, and temperature fluctuation can be as low as 1 F. There is a mounting flange on the blower or the rain proof stainless steel box. You need only to drill 4 bolting holes on your pit to use this smarter temperature controller. It has models of wireless remote controlled and WIFI connection to Internet.

Question from customer:

Wifi Controller for Weber Smokey MountainSunday, December 25, 2011 9:53 AM

Hi. I am interested in your Lion package for my Weber Smokey Mountain. I was about to buy a system from XXXXX Instruments when I came across your web site.

My concern with your system is that I'd have to drill holes in my grill. With the XXXXX controller, it has the same blower flange dimensions, but it snaps in with a spring, so you don't have to drill any holes. The spring appears to be very simple, but I don't know where to buy one. There are a lot of people who might buy your system if they did not have to drill holes in their smoker. Another advantage of this spring system is that it is easily removed, so you do not need to worry about it getting wet from the rain.

Here is a link to the XXXXX fan;

Is there a way for you to provide the same snap in that thy do?

Kind Regards,

Answer:
Mounting this system in your pit is easy, simply tell us the dimension of vent door, we will supply flange 2" wider than your vent door. If you push the flange to far end, it will close the vent door. If you make the fan facing vent door, the controller works

This system uses 12 VDC, you can use a small battery, say 4 a.h battery can drive your pit over 12+ hours. You can place controller, battery, fan inside a rainproof SS box, the you can do smoking during rain days

If you do want this controller on your Traeger, you need to change burner to my gravity feed burner too. Then you will have a much better stable temperature

Does anyone have any pictures of how this set-up would attach to a New Braunsfels silver smoker offset with the side door?

It seems you need fan adapter A
If you can drill a 1" hole, fan Adapter C is better

sweetheatbbq 02-04-2013 06:06 PM

I am wanting something that will give me the temp of the meat and pit temp and run one unit for 2 smokers. I don't really need the fans. Also I like the wifi idea. Do you have something that will do this?

woodpelletsmoker 02-04-2013 07:11 PM

iGrill with bluetooth shall be the best, price $70
Then comes NEW Maverick ET732 wireless. price $60
MY thermometer will be born in March, wGrill, with WIFI, dual probes, high/low temperature alarm, graphing, and self-contained re-charging ciucuit for Li-ion battery, AC/DC adapter. booking before March 15 at $58

I have been using one of these controllers for over a year now and they work pretty good. I have the contoller and the gravity feed burner mounted on a vertical smoker I built. Temperature fluctuates less than 3 degrees.
