I deep fried a Turkey.

Nice Michael! That's still my favorite way to cook a turkey. The price of peanut oil is off the hook tho, so I haven't done one lately.

I used a generic Soy/Peanut oil. The price was lower than the pure Peanut oil with the same result.

What kind of deep fryer is that?

It's the Butterball Indoor Electric Turkey Fryer. It's 100% safe but limited to a 13 pound bird. I have cooked many birds in this and the crowd raves every time. :thumb:

I fry one for Turkey Day every year. Another in the smoker...I prefer the fried myself! And the leftover oil is a good excuse for a neighborhood fry-a-thon of fish, oysters, veggies etc.
