Seriously contemplating catering...
How do you actually get started? Ive seen people advertising on CraigsList and such, but wonder just how much business they get from there. Id love to just do onsite stuff for now, but have no idea how to start...so, how do I start? LOL.
I KNOW to be a fact that my BBQ is good...people have begged me to cook for them. How do I let the general public know, though, and how do I actually get gigs? What do you guys do? |

We do it as a legit business. Its loads of work and costly to do right.

Craigs List LOWBALLERS
"What can you do for $5 a head" I direct them to Subway for the six footer |
Most will find the cost of getting into this business as a part time gig is cost prohibitive.

gotta cook ribs well first. :becky:
but seriously, i've got all the forms, guidelines, requirements, etc. for up here...and it is immense. easy 20 pages of documents. 3 things first. HD, FD, and taxes. |
