Thermometer Accuracy
I have several thermometers and while they all give pretty accurate readings at 212° under boiling water their readings at higher temps vary by as much as 75°.
These higher temp readings were all taken at a point 3" down one of the vent holes in a Weber kettle. Are these variances normal? I would hope not.
