K I'm excited building my first uds tomorrow thanks for the help bro's

K finally gonna go and build it nothing fancy just a basic UDS but with the next 3 days off I'm hoping to get thru a first smoke to boot...

Found the drums at Rural King -$13 bucks...open tops but got a weber lid from my kettle.... and got alot of the hardware already in the shop so far I'm in good shape I think for tomorrow

More tomorrow night and maybe a pic or two if I can borrow a camera from sis.

YEA I'm excited!!:-D

Have fun and take lots of pics thru out the build. I'm still looking for an unlined drum can't seem to find one. I'm contemplating having one sandblasted.

Congratsz with your UDS...I love it!

Garth57 05-15-2011 01:11 PM

Did you finish the drum, or the Busch first? Good job!

el_matt 05-15-2011 04:12 PM

Nice job. Beer and BBQ just go together, even if it's making a BBQ!

That's a lot of pull back, they look tasty. How cool is it, cooking in something you built?

Matt
