Just wondering who is coming? This will be only our 2nd comp ever, and our first out of state trip. We are coming from TX, this trip is twofold for us, a chance to compete and to visit with our LA relatives. Looking forward to a great time. Y'all are coming a long way! Will you be at the Gonzales, LA contest the previous weekend(3/11-12)?

No, I only have every other weekend off for now, so we fit in our comps with my schedule as we can. We may be in Magnolia, TX the first of April and definitely at the Tomball, TX cookoff April 15 & 16.

22 teams registered as of yesterday. It is an IBCA event in the Paragon Casino parking lot. I believe they're still accepting teams if anyone is interested.

24 teams as of this morning. Over $7500 pot - Anything over Rice, Soup/Gumbo & Margarita contests Friday night!

Yep, we're entering the Anything over rice and margarita contests Friday, and the sauce Saturday..........plus all of the meats of course. Looking forward to it, we've got family coming in from Dallas, some from my area, and we have some family near Marksville as well.
