For all the Kansas and MO brothers, I was at Dillons this evening, and they had butts for .99/lb.

They are not "enhanced" in a solution.

Just at the local Meijers store, had pork butts on sale $.89 pr pd. These were average 3.5 - 5 pounds. Bought 4 doubles in cyro with an average weight of 15 pounds per double and the they gave them to me for $.79 pr pnd. Walked out with 62 pounds of butt for $48 and change. They run them on sale like that about every 3rd week.

Still farking $1.98 a pound here due to Albertson's pulling out. HEB has no real competition in meat prices. Who goes to Wally World for meat?

I do. It's the only place I can get packer brisket. The pork is usualy reasonably priced at the local stores though.

I've purchased butts at Wally's in the past. They have been the "enhanced" kind. The are ussually around $1.29/lb. If you have a Sam's near, around here their butts are $1.12/lb and packer brisket $1.70.

our's here are back up to $1.19 but the good thing we had 2 weeks of $.99 so my freezer is full.

Where the hell is the food porn Bruno? You were off all week for christ sake. You can't even take a moment and snap some pics?
