Did you know you can get this in black now?

I just got a white one and will be christening it tomorrow with some beef ribs , andouille sausages and ABTs on my UDS.
Thanks for posting the review!

I've really enjoyed the one I have. Great units for the price.

My white one arrived yesterday. Going to break it in with a Tri Tip.

My three year old ET73 transmitter is black now. Kinda.:becky:

I just received my black one today, had a perfectly good white one until the chocolate lab in my avatar decided to eat it the last cook I did...I really like the black tho..

cpw 11-30-2012 04:38 PM

Yep! Had an ET73 that went bad and picked up a brand new black 732! That is smart thinking on their part.

I just got the black one the day before thanksgiving and i love it! I do think that it might be off tho, i gotta test the probes in some boiling water...

nucornhusker 11-30-2012 04:49 PM

They come in white, black, silver and copper.

One cook down and I love it. It's so handy to see the grill and meat temp. Where do you guys store your Maverick when not in use?

Can they monitor more than one pit at a time?

Thanks,

G

I too got a black one after my Rottie put a hurtin on my white receiver because an alarm was going off .

Yes if you don't need to monitor you food. You can just plug in another pit probe on the food side. Both are calibrated at 500+ degs. You'll have to order another pit probe though. I ordered the 6ft wire ones for $20 instead of the stock size.

Which one is faster and more accurate - the white or black one?

How accurate would this be when it's below freezing outside? No experience with these before..
