Rotisserie or shelves?

If you could custom build a vertical box as part of a smoker would you have

1. Rotisserie
2. Shelves
3. Both

What are pro's/con's of shelves or rotisserie?

If money is not object, I say rotisserie and maybe a top shelf.
 
I would want both, with option to put shelves in when not using rotisserie and still get to use that space.
 
So many variables, like type of fuel being used, where it the heat source in the pit, is it convection, how much meat am I cooking at one time...Never had a rotisserie, would like to cook on one sometime.
 
Rotisserie...
Upside - great even cook.

Drawbacks - need for electricity and not able to use a remote thermometer or difficult to do.
