I like to put on a pat of butter topped with a couple slices of cheese. Microwave for one minute. After that and a generous spread of mayo, it is a seriously juicy microwave-reheated burger.

IMHO reheating burgers is a waste of time, I LOVE cold leftover burger between two pieces of white bread with a dollop of mayo.

when I reheat meat in the microwave, I wrap it in a damp paper towel. Seems to steam it a bit, and help keep it moist. So far does not seem to make it rubbery, that I can tell.

Can't say it's a waste of time, but I'm with you, slap it between bread or
tear it up and mix it into my salad just so long as it gets eaten.

Great idea! I've been using the microwave on 60% power with the burger in the bun wrapped in a paper towel. Worked OK, but I will try this steam method next time for sure.
