Porterhouse annihilation by a 25 lb carnivore .

My 18 month old son and I were getting hungry, so there was only one logical solution. Steak.

24oz porterhouse:

Off the grill resting. Cooper is eyeing his dinner:

Looks good:

The picture of him peering over the table at the steak looks like he's sneaking up on it. A natural-born hunter/carnivore! Awesome.

Nice! I can't get my 3.5 year old to touch any type of meat. I'm beginning to think I need to have a talk with the mail man and wife.

If he sees a raw piece of meat all I hear is "cooook" "cook" "bite bite" until it's done.

AWESOME!!!!!

Can I have some now???

He doesn't understand the concept of letting it rest after its off the grill. He was ready to eat as soon as he found it!

Lol, sorry. Daddy still has to eat. I legitimately did not eat any of that filet. He ate it ALL. He probably had 1/4 of a banana and 10 cherry tomatoes while he waited on it and ten about 10 blackberries for desert. The boy can eat.

We ate a lot of beef growing up. My granddad (who died at 101) raised cattle and sent everything we could eat our way. I initially caught some flak for feeding him beef on the rare side of medium-rare, but it's obvious that's what he prefers. He'll spit medium meat out, lol.
