The 2018 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash

You are all invited to The 2018 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash!!
It's on Saturday March 24, 2018.
Starting around 8:00 am and going till about 6:00 pm or so.
It will be back at:

Ray Roberts Lake State Park (Texas State Park entrance fee is $7.00 per adult. Exact change recommended)
Isle du Bois Unit, Group Picnic Pavilion 2
100 P W 4137 (Off of FM 455)
Pilot Point, TX 76258

It’s a great location with nice facilities and easy in and out.
We have rented the large Pavilion with quite a few picnic tables.
There are onsite restrooms, running water at the hose bib along with 120 VAC at the Pavilion.
Please bring your camp chairs and a cooler with your favorite beverages.

If you would like to bring a cooker that's great.
If not, we should have space on a cooker somewhere if you want to bring something to cook.
And if you just want to hang out, have a few beverages and partake in some great food and Q, well that's OK too.

So just click on the sign-up sheet "LINK", below in my signature, and let us know who's coming please.
It's that simple!

We will be there pretty much all day. Any questions just let us know.
I am local and can answer pretty much any question about the area.
Just send me a PM.
There is a local camp ground within the Park area if you would like to bring an RV or pitch a tent.
I would recommend getting a reservation ASAP!

So, please go ahead and sign up today. :clap2:
Hope to see you at The 2018 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash!
Thanks,
Hotch

Just a reminder that the Texas Bash is not that far out!!
Now would be a great time to start getting ready. :becky:

What will we cook this year?
What do we need to bring with us?
What do I what to bring to cook on one of the cookers there?
Where did you put it when we came back from the last Bash?
Will there be some hot coffee in the morning?
Will SmittyJonz be smoking his Meatloaf??

These are a few of the questions going around at our house!!

Hope to see you there!!

Larry does he make an all beef Texas Red Hots, aka Hot Links?

Just so long as we don't get a park cancellation email like I did a couple of years ago when all of the state parks were closed due to flooding.

I've got the Cabo and some other goodies!

How much rain this week? We're at 2.5" so far.

I haven't seen the totals, but I remember them discussing it being over 5" by Saturday (feels about right so far). Sunday is a break and more again next week. I was half joking, but it is pretty nasty the further northwest of the city you get.

Hopefully we won’t get the deluge of rain like we did back then.
If we do, we will have a plan B!
