Memorial Day Butt & Brisket Pron
What a beautiful weekend here in Chicago. I did my cook starting at 6:30 pm on Friday and ended at 1:30 on Saturday. Was 42 degrees and wendy and it took a lot of fuel to keep the drafty bandera up to temp.
(2) Briskets and (4) Butts and they turned out great. The pork was the best I have cooked to date! http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/k...z/100_0262.jpg http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/k...z/100_0264.jpg The Brisket was moist but was falling apart. Not sure if it was the foil or the hold time in the cooler for 3hr. I normally don't do either of these. I perfer a little more texture but won't complain. All of our guest sure didn't.:-D http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/k...z/100_0266.jpg http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/k...z/100_0267.jpg This is my first time to post any pictures...hope this works. |
