New pork butt recipe

Tried my first injection for pork butt. Used an apple beer injection I made. Turned out really good. Got a good smoke ring on the money muscle to.

Looks great. What volumes of injection did you use?

Flavor had a little more sweetness to it and it was a lot more moist. I used probably a cup of injection for 2 butts. My first experiment with an injection. Going to play around with if a little more. Over all I was very pleased with it. My wife gave me a thumbs up so that is usually good.

Did you notice any difference in cooking time?
Looks real good. I haven't tried an injection yet, but after seeing your results I might just give it a shot. |
