is one Smokin' Farker
My current horizontal cooker is a NBBD which I've fitted with tuning plates. After a cook,
the tuning plates are covered in grease and heavy blotches of goo baked on. I take them
out and use a (very) inexpensive electric pressure washer to knock the stuff off them as well as the grills, works great.
My next pit is going to be a horizontal with reverse flow (R/F) plate welded in. Won't be able to remove the plate for cleaning.
How exactly do you clean your pit after cooking?
