Slow Smoked BBQ in Detroit?
It seems most folks in the Detroit area boil their ribs instead of smoking them. Are there any real pitmasters in Detroit where someone can get some real smoked meat?

Try Lockharts BBQ in Royal Oak, you won't be disappointed! :thumb: |
And I apologize ahead of time if you find my BBQ better than what you have in Ok. :becky:

(This is a D&R prayer chain request, no?) |
Detroit is a big city should be some good Q somewhere

If you go to Lockharts, as Bubba suggested, I bet you'll be extremely pleased.

I've never been to Lockharts, but I have met Bubba and he certainly knows his meat. Wait, does that sound bad? He really knows Q. I'm not sure how far away you are from there, but I am willing to betcha that it's worth the drive.
And...please report back... |

Bubba, Bubba, he's the man, if he can't smoke it...well, it really shouldn't be smoked, maybe grilled, fried, sauteed, or baked, but not smoked.
I'll never be a cheerleader.... ;( |
