Thanks to the Brethren

Just did my second contest this weekend at the Platte City BBQ Cook Off and I wanted to say thanks to the Brethren for helping me improve. First contest at Kearney, MO, we were 40th of 53 teams. Highest finish was 11th in Pork.

This weekend, we improved to 16th overall (a 25 point overall improvement), 12th in ribs and a 3rd place walk, call and $150 check on pork.

It was the MoKan Meatheads who showed me exactly what a UDS is and told me about this site at Kearney. I've learned a lot since last September because of the people on this site

So a big THANK YOU to everyone.

Great job...and great improvement. The Platte City contest was our first ever walk many years ago...got a 10th in chicken!
