Taylorville, IL 6/4-6/5 2010
Wasn't sure how to label this thread with the "Roll Call" tag, but thought I would ask who all will be joining us in Taylorville, IL? Talked to the organizer a couple of nights ago and they are still needing a few more teams to ensure it as a qualifier. Third year for the contest and they seem to be getting the hang of it!

The organizer did inform me that they were waving the $50.00 late sign-up charge.

We enjoyed Taylorville last year. The grounds were nicely kept, electricity and water were available everywhere and the people were very nice. We're committed elsewhere that weekend otherwise we'd go back.

Smokin' T's will be rolling in sometime around 2PM or so. Only taking a half day off of work. Looking forward to it, always a great contest.

We always like this contest..They just keep changing the date for some reason... We will be at hannibal insted. Would have liked to cook both again.

i was thinking about doing this one, but will be on vacation until the 2nd. not sure i have enough time to prep and get don there. how many teams short of a qualifier are they?

Talked to Paul (the Organizer) and they are at 26 teams, with the possibility of 1 team having to drop out. This is way too close, we need a couple more teams so we don't have to sweat arrival day! I'm too old for that!!

It will be the first contest for the Able Acres BBQ Team. Just trying to figure out what it is that I'm going to forget to pack. Everybody go easy on us rookies!

I'm the team that possibly couldn't make it. Arthritus in my back flared up monday & was using a walker to get around. As of this morning I'm walking upright & feeling pretty good. I've got a good helper lined up & we'll be there around noon. You can relax now Phil.:clap2:
