Hey everyone,

Relatively new to bbq and in the past years i would go to the one local bbq comp we have and talk to people and learn as much as I could(which was not a whole lot). anyway since getting a smoker/bbq I have scowered the net for hours upon hours as im sure most of you did. It eventually became evident this was the place to call home and had a wealth of info and great people that couldnt easily be exhausted (pardon the pun). As I ventured from wild game jerkey to butts and beyond I had the realization as i am sure all of you did, that there is something trully romantic and theraputic about cooking what is typically an "off" cut for 18 hours outside and share it with friends (esp when it actually turns out and is a hit). Anyway, I just finished my first homemade bacon last night so I better get on breaky :)

cheers
