I fired up the UDS for the first time today and decided of take care of that crappy magnet that was on my digital thermometer. The original POS wouldn't hold to anything.

I decided to replace it with a magnet from a computer hard drive. I remove these from dead drives all the time and use them to hold tools up on the workbench. If you have never seen a HDD magnet, let's just say that they are serious.

Actually this may be overkill big time.

That magnet will "suck" all your wireless signal right out of the air.
You should also be able to use the thermometer as a lid lifter.
