Jerked Shrimp Nachos & Jerky ABT's

I used the mini food processor to shred the home made jerky but I think I remember doing it in a blender one time for Mexican eggs just as well.

You got the jerk ingredients on the right and the mango salsa ingredients on the left with a little lime and avocader for garnish.

If I told you these were the best ABT’s mankind has ever devised it would probably be an understatement. They are incredible and what gets me is they even come off as seeming kinda “light”. I kinda tried to get the mix of jerky vs cream cheese at 4 parts jerky and 3 parts cream cheese. The cook was indirect at 350 and I don’t have a time but it took a while thought and the bacon has zero fat left in it.

This salsa is killer with the mango in it but you need to triple up on the pepper if you like it hot – my jap was avg size and I didn’t seed it and the salsa was still mild.

Mike would be proud of me here.

Indirect 350 on the nachos as well.

The two of us hardly ever clean up on anything we cook but all that was left of the peppers or the nachos was 1 ½ peppers and I’m not sure if those will survive the next few minutes or not pending how I feel when I get up from this cheer and all.

it's just a method to fill the pepper by putting the filling in a plastic baggie, cutting out the corner, and piping the filling in the pepper. clean & quick
