60# pig @ $2.00/ lb (retail) X 4 (profit) = $480.00.

YMMV

60 lb'r should fit in the Party right?

Got the Meadow creek to do her in. I was thing 3.5 I didn't want to scare them off for future work. Since I am at the vending site also which will bring in about $600 beans that day also.

For Albany thats good money for a drop off at $400.00 if you want to keep them coming back i go maybe $ 25.00- $ 30.00 Lower, and also bring them some small size sides to try out, so they order them NEXT TIME !

Good LUck

The sides thing is a good idea but it is not a drop off they want me on site to cook it and carve it.

No problem doing a local drop off for $400.00 because it allows me free time to do other things while the hog is cooking. Onsite cook & carve I would have to get $550.00, I know it's a lot of sitting around but I would rather be productive doing something else and make a bit less.

Your gonna cook Wilbur!!!! I agree with ASUBBQ, thats alot of time sittin around. How many people will be eating? Most of the guys around here charge per person regardless of the size of the pig. Either way your gonna be around $450 - $480.
