First Brisket Cook on the Lonestar
27 degrees this AM but stuck to the plan to do my first cook on the Lonestar.... Temps supposed to rise to upper 40's later on.
This brisket is one of two I bought from a local farm. ~12 lbs. Trimmed and then rubbed with kosher salt, black pepper, drop of garlic powder and then a dusting of Cow Lick. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/brisket1.jpg http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/brisket2.jpg http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/brisket3.jpg |
That's a nice looking Briskie. I always like them 12 lbs. and up. Keep us updated on your results.
