Served with fresh green beans. I forgot how good a steak with just salt and pepper tasted

Thanks for looking

Ross

You gotta revisit the classics from time to time, great job Ross.

Nice! Unless i splurge and buy an aged prime steak I have been salting mine recently and then adding only pepper and they have been great!

Phesant 04-08-2010 08:12 PM

looks like the ones I did last sunday, from Costco... My wife just said "I can't stop putting it in my mouth" she polished one off. Usually she eats about half a steak.

Try the AB version in a CI skillet in the oven. KS & P are the only seasoning.

Basics are always good Ross and that steak looks wonderful. I'd hit it.

Paulmark 04-08-2010 09:46 PM

Very nice Ross:clap2:...makes me remember a steak throwdown at CCA when I got the best tasting steak....yep, just salt and pepper....hot and fast. Good old kiss principle.

Beautiful Ross! S&P always works wonders.

smoken don 04-08-2010 10:38 PM

Does a good steak ever need anything else.

bigabyte 04-08-2010 10:48 PM

You jsut can't go wrong with a simple salt and pepper seasoned steak. Well, as long as you cook it right, and you did.

Looks great. The ribeye is my favorite cut.
