Huge Score! But I do feel bad.
 

Hey all.

I scored HUGE today. I've had a Craigslist ad up since December 8 asking about buying a used WSM. Today, I received a call from a VERY angry lady who wanted to get rid of a WSM she had bought for her hubby before she caught him cheating on her. The divorce was final yesterday, and she wanted to get rid of an 18.5" WSM because it reminded her of hubby and his wh*&e. YIKES!

She said if I was willing to pay $30, I could have it. I told her she could probably sell it for much more than that, but she said she knew that. This was her final way of getting back at hubby (thank God I'm not married to her!).

When I met her at the storage place, she started right in cursing about her hubby and his "friend." In the end, though, I paid $30 for an 18.5" WSM. I feel bad that the guy never got to use his gift, but I'm also pinching myself.

The only negative is that I now need to sell the Mini UDS I just built. Never used except for a seasoning burn.

No need to sell that mini uds.

Not that I saw. I was honestly trying to get out as fast as I could. She was cussing him SO bad. I was actually a little scared.

My wife won't be happy with this find as it is.

Nice score though. And he probably did cheat, and it would make sense based on your experience.
