I did a quick search here and only found a couple. And most of the ones I have come across are propane tanks with rounded ends. Has anyone seen any builds using a tank like this?

Thinking I could probably get this pretty cheap....looking for ideas for a build.

Thanks.

We are building one at school just like that tank. I am mounting the fire box under it conneting by 2 -4"pipe , have a 4" pipe on each end for exhaust and a 4' air intake

I've seen a few like that for sale in my area lately. Usually these are fuel tanks for agriculture operations. The build really shouldn't be much different than a propane take with the rounded ends except for the actual cuts. Just use the spreadsheet to figure the volume of your firebox and stacks. Just make sure you know what you're cutting into, if it held gas then make sure to fill it with water. Also, these are usually thinner metal than the propane tanks, but I've seen a lot of them turned into cookers.
