I can pick up this Hobart 512 slicer for $200. It's in good shape and works well. What do you guys & gals think? Is this a good deal?

HeSmellsLikeSmoke 02-17-2013 09:33 PM

$200 for a Hobart is a score in my book.

If it works, yes, a good deal

If it were a little closer to me,you would not have an option because I would have already bought it!

Hog 02-18-2013 07:07 PM

That is a great deal!

bluetang 02-18-2013 07:29 PM

Def a good deal, but keep in mind that thing is HEAVY! It needs its own place to live. I have one and it's a bear to move around.

captmoby 02-18-2013 07:44 PM

What bluetang said. I have one also and they are heavy. But a great slicer.

That's a really good price. Any shipping charges??

ICTBBQ 02-18-2013 08:04 PM

No shipping charges. Broke down and bought it. It is definitely built to last and weighs a ton!

Would love to take a roadie to KS, lots of good Q along the way!
