Grill up a 7 bone chuck steak?
On a whim in the supermarket I bought a 7 bone chuck steak.
Should I grill it up like any other steak? Never had one before. |
From the sounds of it, they just sliced up a chuck roast to make a steak.
How thick is it? I'd be concerned about tenderness, just grilling it? But it may be two thin to smoke. How about a picture? I've never seen one. |

well that was a damn good peice of meat. Cooked it to 150 internal and it was tender as can be. I'd absolutely buy that again!

Kingsford....no wood, salt and pepper and the meat before it hit the grill.
Enjoyed with corn on the cob, red potatoes, onion& mushroom grilled in foil and some Dennymikes Sweet and spicy bbq sauce that I picked up in Maine drizzled on the meat at the end. (I was hoping the sauce would be spicier but it's pretty good anyway). The whole thing was accompanied by 3 Coors Lights. An excellent dinner. |
No pics?

next time, squeeze some lime on it before the salt and pepper, and before you start the fire. then grill the heck out of it on high heat!! personally i use Bolner's Fiesta Fajita Seasoning instead of the S&P.

nah, no pics of the finished product. Should have.
