Besides heating it up and enjoying it the same way you did the day before (or earlier that day), what do you do with your leftover Q? I've heard people using it in chili and also beans.

I was reading this Ramen thread and it made me hungry for lunch:

So I cooked up some ramen and then fried it with some soy, sriracha, and leftover pork and brisket from yesterday's competition.

That ramen looks great. I do tacos with the pork and make slaw with that. For brisket I heat up in a pan with peppers and onions to do cheese steak type sandwiches. I recently starting taking leftover ribs, cutting the meat off and pan searing it to give it a little char and make sandwiches out of that too. Brunswick stew is good for leftovers too.

Jackal, the food looks great. I mostly make chili with the occasional sandwich thrown in.

what's leftovers?
with the pulled pork i'll make eggrolls. i use the egg roll wraps, put in some PP and some cole slaw and into the deep fryer. they've been a big hit

I'm with Big Alvin......

...what are these "leftovers" that you speak of?

Seriously though....

To be honest.....I usually do 4 or 6 butts at once and vacuum seal it ALL, just FOR the leftovers so we can quickly reheat it for dinner on nights when we don't have time to prepare a meal.

We make enchiladas a lot with pulled pork and pulled chicken.
Tacos are a big one too.
I've made chopped brisket burritos.
Then there's pulled pork pizzas.
Smoked chicken salad.
Smoked ham goes great in beans or for breakfast meat.
Made hash with cubed corned beef once. THAT was good.

BBQ spaghetti is a favorite, especially if I have leftover smoked sausage and brisket. Smoked until tender brisket makes such a good meat in sauce.

Oh, if you have a leftover brisket, point especially, then slice it thin and set it in a barely hot steamer. Toast up a French roll, some lettuce and onions, the the brisket, then some horseradish sauce, soooo good. I have taken to making my own horsey sauce (Arby's x 4) and it really is terrific with brisket.

I vac seal mine and then I use it for all kinds of other goodies! I especially love throwing the leftover in with some green peppers, onions, in a frying pan, and then using it to make burritos! It is awesome and my family loves it!
