Paella

Now that is a cool cook! Great use of a cooker that I am sure they never envisioned when they put it on the market. We use a turkey fryer gas ring but having seen that I am going to give it a shot on my Kamado

Looks great. :thumb: :thumb:

If only my wife liked seafood I'd be making these all the time.

Nice looking paella sdpike!

What brand/size pan are you using?

Does anyone have recommendations for a pan that would fit the 22" Kettle?

If you want the handles to fit inside the kettle and the pan to sit on the cooking grate, a 17" should be fine. 18" may or may not fit depending on the handle size (I have an 18" stainless one from paellapans.com that fits and an 18" restaurant grade Pata Negra one that won't). If you're fine with cooking with the pan resting on the handles you could go a little bigger. I've seen some folks heat & bend their handles upwards to reduce the width at the handles.

I've seen handle sizes get considerably bigger and thicker at 20 or 22". Sdpike's pan above has the big thick handles. Nice pan!

I think it looks fantastic, and for all that work
I'd add way more seafood, etc.
That looks like 4 old people might get full.
In my BBQ world, there are ALWAYS leftovers!!!!
