Getting ready to build a new cover for my patio 24'x20'
It's gonna attach to the existing gable on my roof. Shouldn't even be able to tell it's not the original build when it's done.
I know it's a bit overkill, but I was able to get a real nice deal on the beams, plywood and custom 1/4" steel brackets.
Main beams are 5 1/2"x10" and truss beams are 3 1/2"x5 1/2".
5/8" plywood for the roof sheating.
Got a load of 6" tongue and grooved Cedar coming for the ceiling and gonna have four lights on each side with separate dimmers.
Have a new set of Bose 251 outdoor speakers for tunes. Also going to add a few 110v outlets.
Here are a few pics of some of the materials and a shot of where it's gonna go. Forgot to take pics of the house to beam, and cement to beam brackets. I'll get them next time. Plan on cutting out existing 3" patio cement next week and pouring massive new footings with brackets.
Truss Brackets
Upside down shot of one of the main beam to beam hangers.
Sitting outside uncovered is nearing an end.
