I am just thankfull that Kevin and Clara were at Crestview this weekend and not at Mobile

We can give you that tip Neil. Buy his rubs...............

Congrats!

Was it as cold at Crestview as it was in Mobile? I had to break out the watch cap and gloves Friday night. :D

jeffsasmokin 03-06-2005 08:01 PM

Like a true gentleman, Kevin hasn't even posted to rub it in all our faces. Than again, it could be...................Tired Mod!

Hi All,

Thanks, we got home late yesterday afternoon, and had quite a bit to deal with at home. It was definately cold Friday night Dave and lots of moisture in the air. Had to work hard to keep the fire where I wanted it. It was also cold Friday morning when we were setting up as well. Now, to do this all over again this weekend in Clermont. Man, I'm tired.

But happy? :)

Congrats!!!

Yes Arlin, I am happy... As Tim mentioned in another post, this was my 10th GC. I have been stuck at 9 since Aug. 2004 at Manchester, TN. Its been eating at me that I couldn't get that number 10 out of the way. Finally, now I can move on..

chad 03-07-2005 09:00 AM

Smooth! :D

I'll settle for 10th (either in catagory or overall in anything) and you're fighting getting the 10th GC!! :D

There is no justice!

Congratulations, again! I'll probably see you at Auburndale - I've got serious honey-do's this weekend (income tax prep, etc.).

homebbq 03-07-2005 10:00 AM

Sorry Dave, I certainly was not trying to rub anything in..
You guys will get there, I have faith in you..

Its just there are definate milestones, and that was the toughest one to get through, mentally.

See you in Auburndale then..

I was kidding! I most definately understand the effort it takes to stay as consistent as you and other top contenders. I in no way thought you were rubbing it in!! :D

I appreciate the relief you feel from getting past a "hang point" in competition!! Congrats, again.

jeffsasmokin 03-07-2005 11:53 AM

Kevin, since you're too humble...............allow me to do the honors! You're gonna need your own trophy room soon, Brother!
