Question about " The Jack"

Got our team packet for the Jack and as I was reading it I notice a turn called " Jack Daniel's Shade Tree Cook-off" for Chicken, pork ribs & pork shoulder/ Butts. What is this? Can't find a description anywhere n the packet.

There is a backyard division at the Jack called Shade Tree and they are set up in the park out beyond where the pro teams are located. They have their own turn in schedule and awards ceremony.
