Naturiffic Smoked Onion
I’ve now made smoked onion several times. This was really good. The onions get quite sweet.
Cut off top and bottom (flat) Use a paring knife to spin a tunnel Fill tunnel with butter Use spin pulp to top butter Drizzle with evoo and season Someday I’m going to wrap in bacon-keep forgetting |
Love that, looks real good
after thanksgiving try leaving the skin on and just lop one end, makes a good vessel |
I make it a little bit differently. But add a beef bouillon cube on top of the butter. Tastes like french onion soup.

Just might have to try that one myself. Great looking meal

Nice I really like a grilled onion Have not done one in a while
|
Looks good Adams.

Great idea.

will try |
Looks like you have some green in there too. But to get the cook down more accurately, looks like you made a foil boat to hold the onion and anything else that drips out. That juice would be good on your eggs and fatty the next morning.

Pretty sure I'm gonna try this soon.

I'm going to have to try this one myself. Thanks Adams!

Remember brethren, only spin your tunnel about 3/4 way through
