Well it's about time you got that briskie going. Enjoy your cook and we eagerly await the results.

Kosmo's Q 03-01-2009 11:39 AM

Bring it on! Can't wait.

Trucky1008 03-01-2009 11:42 AM

I've got a brisky going right now and trying Butcher BBQ brisket injection for the first time. If it works as well as their pork injection I'll be a happy camper!

One thing I noticed about the Butcher Block is that it gels real quick. I used 1/4 of the recipe (with cold water) for the 5lb flat and it started to gel while I was whisking.

Hey JD where did you get that Double Needle Injector, looks kinda interesting do you like it ?

Midnight Smoke 03-01-2009 03:09 PM

Hey JD, is it 1/3 done yet?

HOG-QUE-HOLIC 03-01-2009 03:20 PM

JD, that bigger needle looks like the one to use, I have only one size and is a pain to get thicker juice through it, what brand is that ? Thinking of getting a pump unit, have to search this site, hope youre Brisky comes out perfect ! did you use a good select or choice ?

smoke-n-my-i's 03-01-2009 03:38 PM

Still waiting.... no pics, didn't happen.

The injector looks like it has two sizes of needles... a larger one for lumpier (is that a word) or the smaller one for liquid..... just my thoughts on that...

OK, still waiting some more.... what time do we eat?

Did the search found, that Pump Injector, No Sence, it is big ! lot's of volume, but I'll think of getting that Horse injector, or the one at Tractor Supply, going to check out the Co-Op in town, I can smell that Brisky in the air, you are a few miles south of me, looking foward to see the result's.
