1st Pizza Attempt on Grill
A Few weeks ago, I bought myself a pizza stone. I used a recipe I aquired on here for dough. I made my first pizza on the grill. It was tough to keep the temp up above 300* with the lid on. I am gonna have to try on my barrel smoker next.
I know... no pron, didn't happen. so. Pepperoni, Cheddar cheese, Mont Jack cheese, and Mozzarela http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/i...6/IMG_4929.jpg Lid on http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/i...6/IMG_4930.jpg View of pizza through vent.... great, huh? http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/i...6/IMG_4931.jpg I set stone on a few fire bricks... as advised by a few brothers http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/i...6/IMG_4932.jpg The bottom of the pizza could have been a bit crispier for my taste. I will have to leave on longer next time.... http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/i...6/IMG_4933.jpg |
It looks like a tasty pizza. I'd like to give that a try.

I'd hit that as well. Still haven't gotten around to trying this yet. My to-do list keeps growing. If my job didn't get in the way!

Could be the grill. I have no trouble keeping my Weber kettle between 500-600* dome temp with all vents wide open.
