Invitation to the Iowa Barbeque Society Banquet, January 21, 2012
 

I wanted to formally invite all of the Brethren to the Iowa Barbeque Society Annual Banquet on January 21, 2012. This year the banquet is being held in SUNNY, Ames, Iowa.
Darren Warth and Shad Kirton from Smokey D's will be catering a full meal including Hors D' oeuvres, dinner buffet, and dessert, along with iced tea and lemonade. The menu includes Grilled Flank steak with hunter sauce, Herb Roasted Chicken Breast, BLT Salad, Warm Chocolate Cherry Cake and Apple Cobbler to name a few of the items.

*Feel free to bring your own adult beverages. :clap2:

Annual meeting will be held at 4:00pm,happy hour at 5:00pm, with dinner at 6:00pm.

There will be an awards program, silent auction, door prizes, and a meeting. At this time we have 5 contest entries to sell in our silent auction. We also have donations from: Butcher BBQ, Grill Grates, Maverick, Fruitia Woods, Iowa Wholesale Supply, Louisiana Grills, Des Moines Downtown Marriott, Clarion Hotel of Mason City, Iowa, Isle of Capri Hotel and Casino in Waterloo, Iowa and MUCH MORE!

This year the registration for the banquet is being done online. Tickets are $20 per person prior to January 14th, and $25 person after the 14th. Tickets can be purchased by clicking on the "Purchase Banquet Tickets" link below:

If you couldn't make it to the KCBS banquet in San Diego this year but still want to rub elbows with a bunch of people that love barbeque then please consider joining us for the Iowa Barbeque Society Banquet!
