Finally got to put a face with a name. I hooked up with a fellow Brethren @ a local comp @ Cabela's. Great guy. Also got to meet others that are members here. Walked around to the other competitors. Most friendly, some not so much. Maybe 'cause they were from Mass. :laugh: Just kidding. :becky:Guessing they are trying to preserve their trade secrets. Little do they know I'm an amateur. :mrgreen: Look forward to being able to help out with a comp. this season and learning and, well, eating!!!! My favorite part was meeting all the folks and talking shop. Thanks all.

I thought that was a "Jersey thing". Have had similar experiences over the years. I'm glad you did meet some nice folks.:grin:
