The Smokin Aint Easy team had a blast. Ton of cooking over the 4 days we were there, cooked for the KCBS judging class Friday, the NEBS,Kids Q and Rib Cook off on Sat and KCBS on Sunday. Weather was great, the location can't be beat and tons of good times talking with other BBQ heads. Great way to start out the season, had hoped to place a bit better in KCBS, but all you can do is turn in your best and see what the judges think of it. Congrats to the other Brethren on their calls!!!

No grilling scores? There were TWO 180s in the NEBS grilling.

Congrats to Stubborn Bull for the NEBS grilling GC and Smokin' Hoggz for the repeat of the KCBS GC. I also think Bill looked sharp in his safety glasses during the chicken call. I bet some wise ass let him borrow those. :becky:

Congrats to Smokin' Hoggz on the GC, and to all those who walked. We had a blast this weekend. It was nostalgic setting up in the same exact site we had last year though I am MUCH happier with this years result. The Welcome Party sponsored by the Buckner Bros. was really nice and the Garbage Plates Saturday hit the spot. The boys over at Good Smoke handed out mimosa's and donuts Sunday morning. Great hospitality! Only 362 days until next year!

for us babylon grillbilles. This was such a nice comp long ride 7 hrs but was well worth
it. They put on a great show there and its ran very well.
