Custom cooker for a fellow brethern By TQ and Tyler

Well a fellow brethren contacted me and after many discussions I came up with a cooker that I thinks will meet his needs, and it will hold a ton of meat. I am going to take you through the build process hopefully it will help someone else out. Just to clarify I do not think we are all that in a bag of chips but I have built many cookers and some people like to see the build process, so here it is. The cook chamber is 88" long by 30"OD

laying out the cooker on this type of cooker the best thing for me to do is lay it out and identify what is going where. This is an end view

this is the end view cut out and fit up. It is best to fit the end on weld what you need to then make the cut for the door

http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...osaQ/015-4.jpg

added a brace it help hold things together and it will stay 88"s is along way on full doors

The sub frame for the doors is made of 2"by 1/4 angle iron

The top is cased in with 1/4" plate steel

My fellow brethren said he wanted it to hold a big hog and I sent this pic of TQ and Tyler and said what about a hog and a piglet!!!! LOL!!!!

This was the original trailer 5ft wide by 10ft long it was going to be a little big for the carport so..... I stepped it down to 4ft wide 9'6" long with a removable tongue

Anybody need a trailer HA HA !!! I will use it somewhwere

New trailer I welded a receiver just like on a truck it works great gone It before. The axel is 3500#

slide out fire basket

Damper from cook chamber to warmer

http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...osaQ/012-8.jpg

I also add a fire basket and ash tray to the warmer for dedicated cooks in the warmer. It can be easily removed it only makes sinse to me then if you do not want to fire the cooker up then use the warmer

http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...osaQ/014-8.jpg

all the handles are chrome cool touch slide over a 1/2 inch stainless rod. Then I took my heli- arc rig and fused the handles to the rod and I like it a lot

http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...osaQ/015-6.jpg

here you can see the handle for the damper to warmer

http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/...saQ/005-18.jpg

Random pics the tires and wheels come off and chrome ones go on it will change the whole look

I do not now if I have ever mentioned this and want to everybody always gives me a lot of credit for Tyler and his skills. Well let me say this he has a wonderful step dad his name Allen, he is a master at electronics and electricity and he has taught Tyler everything in that are area cause I know diddly squat about
