Kcbs 1099.

Anyone recieve their 1099's from KCBS yet? They are holding up my fun money!!

KCBS doesn't send out 1099s for contest winnings.

The contests are the ones that write you the checks. Some issue 1099s and some don't.

Wouldn't 1099's come from person/oranization/organizer/ promoter/charity ,issuing the check, not the sanctioning organization, unless KCBS issued check??

KCBS was writing checks for some contests. I got a 1099 from KCBS last year for the Guitarbeque contest. FYI

yup.. me too. I got a 1099 from KCBS last year too, but your right some other checks came from the organizers.

Subtract Contest costs and supplies,

with that buck 12 and another grand or two, and I may break even.
