Pig Fest in Lakeland FL ????

Has anyone competed at Pig Fest in Lakeland FL ? If so please give your feed back on the comp. looking to maybe enter this comp in January . Want to make sure it is worth the travel and time.

Yes many times. Lots of teams, lots of public, lots of fun. Draws 30-50k people over Friday and Saturday according to reports. We're signed up for '14, our 10th year.

Did it this year it's a blast. Good spots, tons of people.

 

[Big Ugly's BBQ]

We've done it the last 2 years and will be back in 2014. Great contest, teams are taken cared of, lots of foot traffic....and most importantly............its Florida in January!
