Advice on Wireless Meat Thermometer

Need some advice from my BBQ Brethren.

Lately, I've started doing my briskets by putting them on in the evening,
and then letting them cook thru the night. I have Treager and it has
enough pellets to do the brisket.

I have a wireless thermometer - I like to cook my briskets to about 190 - 195 and then I take them off and wrap them up.

What I want is a wireless that has an alarm on it loud enough to wake me up.
Kinda like an alarm clock.

Does anybody know of one that has a loud alarm???

Thanks
Rodney

I have one of these, but an older model:

MIL got it for me for Christmas 2 years ago.

I know it's alarm will definitely wake me up, but then I'm a pretty light sleeper and it doesn't take much. When it hits the target temp, it will beep CONSTANTLY pretty loudly until you hit the button or turn it off.

The only thing I don't like about it is it has "preset" temp settings depending on the meat. For instance, if I pick beef and want it well done, it will still only go up to like 160. I always have it on the chicken or turkey setting so it won't beep at me and drive me crazy until it hits 180. Unless they changed the thing since my model, 180 is the highest I can set it at.

I LOVE it, don't get me wrong, but for meats that we I want to go above 180, that's when I turn it off and start doing the probe test. At least it lets me know when to start checking it closer without having to go outside.

Don't know if this helps or not, but it's all I've got.

The new Maverick smoker thermometer came out around December.
I have the original one and it works great.

Thats what I got as well, I haven't done any overnight cooks yet but the alarm seems loud enough when I have used it being awake. I think it would work as long as you don't need 5 alarms set to get up in the morning, although with it being bbq it's not all bad getting up for it like work.
