Pulled Chicken and Pork
This past weekend was very busy. One of the cooks I did was for a company picnic where I provided the pulled chicken and pulled pork. I had 20 lbs of butts, and 24 lbs. of boneless, skinless thighs.
The Pork, fresh, trimmed, and lastly rubbed.... http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5annufmj.jpg http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7rvlmdx1.jpg http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9etrd8gw.jpg The chicken, fresh and then brined... http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...psyiftm97r.jpg http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...psarex2tur.jpg Here is everything on the smoker, along with a couple of Caribou Chorizo Fatties I was cooking for a throwdow... http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...pstlqrdvmj.jpg The chicken is done and it falls right apart using my Bear Claws... http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0o66z5be.jpg http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6vnlekgp.jpg 2 pans of succulent pulled chicken for the party... http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4fievbju.jpg http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...psgx7b4h5b.jpg The butts were a tad overdone, but not mushy by any means. Just juicy and succulent. Look how clean the bone is when I pulled it out... http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4abaadzx.jpg Now this is what I'm talking about, pulled pork, tasty and tender... http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...pstqv2or21.jpg Thanks for looking! :-D |
