My lifetime home state comes through one more time.

This just isnt right. Why in the world with all the computor controlled cookers ect. that this is happening. I can understand fresh produce having problems.

I always figured if it was a canned product that we would be safe.

Thanks Arlin. I consider it so very fortunate that ya'll take the time to alert us about these things......Hadn't heard this, and I live in MI.

Thanks!!!!!!

I may have eaten some of these in my last chilli, but did not get sick. The bacteria did not have a chance in my chilli.

There is a lot of bad stuff happening to our foods today. This is just downright scary.

WineMaster 01-10-2008 10:50 AM

Who wouldve thought in canned foods though

dbhost 01-10-2008 01:46 PM

Uh. Why would y'all use beans in chili? That ain't right...

Seriously though... I rarely use canned beans. Pretty much stay with the dry beans in a bag and then soak, season, and cook 'em up in the crock pot for BBQ day...
